Early in the morning, we will depart for Murchison Falls, leaving the city behind to venture into the quiet rural areas of Uganda. Our first stop will be Ziwa Sanctuary, where we will experience an exciting walking safari to meet face to face with white rhinos. After this unforgettable experience, we will take a lunch break and continue to Murchison. There, we will climb to the top of the Nile Falls to contemplate the impressive force of the water. At the end of the day, we will continue to the lodge, enjoying a spectacular sunset over the African savannah.

Uganda's Best Safari: Murchison Falls National Park

Today, we will devote the whole day to making the most of “the best safari in Uganda”. In the morning we will explore the park in 4x4 in search of 4 of the 5 big ones (elephants, buffaloes, lions and leopards). We will return to our lodge for lunch and, in the afternoon, we will continue our adventure in the afternoon enjoying an afternoon safari in search of felines.

Lodge a Queen
Esmorzar, dinar i sopar

Lodge a Queen Elisabeth
Esmorzar, dinar i sopar

Navegarem pel canal albirant nombrosos grups d’hipopòtams i, si tenim sort, podrem veure elefants a la riba.

Lion Tracking Program and Kyambura Gorge

Lodge to Queen
Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Early in the morning we will participate in the Lion Tracking Program at Queen Elizabeth National Park. Together with top scientists, we will track the lions in the Kasenyi area via satellite and we will be able to have a much more intimate view of these felines. We will observe them and learn about their behavior, and understand the importance of lions for the conservation of the African ecosystem. In the afternoon, we will make an excursion through the famous Kyambura gorge. In this tropical forest we will track the chimpanzee families of the area. Afterwards, we will move to the hotel to rest and contemplate the views of the savannah.

In search of climbing lions in Ishasha and heading to Bwindi National Park

Lodge in Rushaga
Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Breakfast at the accommodation and departure to Ishasha, the southern sector of Queen Elisabeth National Park. We will go in search of the famous climbing lions and other animals of the area. We will have lunch and get to know the project “Save Wildlife Community”. Then we will continue our route to the impenetrable forest of Bwindi. Right on the edge of Bwindi, in Buhoma, we will spend the night there and prepare for the trekking the next day.

Trekking through the Bwindi Forest

Lodge in Rushaga
Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Breakfast and ready to do the trekking that crosses the Impenetrable Forest of Bwindi: “The beat of Bwindi”. This route, used by the local population, connects the villages of Buhoma and Nteko. During the tour we will enter the jungle, passing through waterfalls and mountainous terrain (if you do not want to do this activity, you can go by car with the guide to the accommodation). We will have lunch during the trekking and continue to Nteko, where a car will take us to the next lodge.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi

Lodge in Rushaga
Breakfast, lunch and dinner

The day has come, the moment you have dreamed of all your life. Early in the morning we will explore the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (habitat of almost 600 mountain gorillas, half of the world's population). After an informative chat with the rangers, we will begin the search for the last mountain gorillas on the planet. The walk usually lasts between 3 and 6 hours. Once we locate the family, we will have 1 hour to observe the behavior of these primates. Lunch in the jungle and return, in the afternoon, to the accommodation.

En route to Lake Mburo and safari with giraffes

Lodge in Mburo
Breakfast, lunch and dinner

We say goodbye to Bwindi and head to Lake Mburo (6—7 hours by car). During the tour we will make a stop in Kabale to visit the local market and continue our way to our lodge in Lake Mburo. We will have lunch at the hotel and have the opportunity to rest. In the afternoon we will go on a walking safari and “walk among giants” inside the park (walking safari with giraffes). With 20% wetlands and another 80% savannah, Mburo is home to an incredible biodiversity of fauna: giraffes, zebras, impalas, buffaloes or leopards await us. Later, we will return to the accommodation and toast for a dream day.

Heading to Entebbe and “Scotch Beak Expedition to Victory Lake”

Lodge in Entebbe
Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Today we leave behind Mburo and rural Uganda towards Entebbe (5—6 h). And the adventure is not over yet. In Entebbe we will return to our hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon, we will say goodbye to this incredible journey with the “Sclobbeak Expedition”. We will tour the swampy areas of Lake Victoria by traditional canoe in search of the sloop beak, surely the most famous and special bird in all of Uganda. Its wingspan of more than 1 meter and its huge beak have made it a target of hunters, but here it still has a small refuge. Later we will return to the hotel for dinner and rest.

The Bwindi Forest, in Uganda, is a biodiversity sanctuary with a forest surrounded by fog, creating a magical and mysterious atmosphere. This ancient forest, a World Heritage Site, is home to one of the last populations of endangered mountain gorillas. With towering trees and rich flora, Bwindi is a labyrinth of life where the singing of birds and the whisper of the wind between the leaves form a natural symphony.

Murchison Falls National Park is the largest and most iconic in Uganda. Its heart beats on the Nile River, which crosses the park until it rushes with enormous force through a narrow canyon of only seven meters, giving rise to the imposing waterfalls that give it its name. On its plains, the landscape opens to reveal elephants, giraffes, lions and buffaloes, while hippos rest on the banks of the river and birds fish on its waters. It is a place where nature shows all its strength and wild beauty.
