Uganda

Uganda is nature in its purest state: green jungles, savanna, gorillas and chimpanzees in the wild... and communities that welcome you and make you feel at home. A destination for those looking for real experiences and moments that will remain forever in the memory.
Coneix Uganda

Uganda is a living symphony of wild nature. A country where mountain gorillas inhabit the deep forests of Bwindi and where chimpanzees look you in the eyes in the lush jungle of Kibale. Here the mythical Nile River is born, in Lake Victoria, and an epic journey to Murchison Falls National Park begins. In this unique spot, the Nile makes its way down its narrowest stretch to fall with gliding force into Murchison Falls, a spectacle that is felt as much as it is observed. The Ugandan savannah unfolds all its wealth in the form of lions, leopards, elephants and elegant antelops. But Uganda is much more than a safari: it is one of the few places in the world where you can walk alongside giraffes and rhinos on a walking safari. An intense, authentic experience... a journey that will remain forever in the memory.

What to see in Uganda

Uganda is nature in its purest state: green jungles, savanna, gorillas and chimpanzees in the wild... and communities that welcome you and make you feel at home. A destination for those looking for real experiences and moments that will remain forever in memory.

The Bwindi Forest, in Uganda, is a biodiversity sanctuary with a forest surrounded by fog, creating a magical and mysterious atmosphere. This ancient forest, a World Heritage Site, is home to one of the last populations of endangered mountain gorillas. With towering trees and rich flora, Bwindi is a labyrinth of life where the singing of birds and the whisper of the wind between the leaves form a natural symphony.

Kibale National Park is one of the country's jewels. This biodiversity sanctuary, known as the “Kingdom of the Primates”, is home to a surprising variety of wildlife, including 13 species of primates, although the real protagonists are chimpanzees. You can also hear the songs of more than 375 species of birds, as elephants and antelopes wander among the giant trees of the dense forest.

The Kiambura Gorge, located in Queen Elizabeth National Park, is a hidden haven of biodiversity in the middle of the Ugandan savannah. This deep and leafy valley is home to a wide variety of wildlife, with primates, especially chimpanzees, being its most emblematic inhabitants. In addition, it is an ideal place to listen and observe exotic birds, while small antelopes and baboons roam the paths of the forest. Kiambura offers a unique diving experience in a vibrant and protected natural environment.

Murchison Falls National Park is the largest and most iconic in Uganda. Its heart beats on the Nile River, which crosses the park until it rushes with enormous force through a narrow canyon of only seven meters, giving rise to the imposing waterfalls that give it its name. On its plains, the landscape opens to reveal elephants, giraffes, lions and buffaloes, while hippos rest on the banks of the river and birds fish on its waters. It is a place where nature shows all its strength and wild beauty.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of Uganda's most iconic destinations, famous for the diversity of its ecosystems ranging from open plains to dense forests and wetlands. Elephants, lions, buffaloes and hippos can be spotted here, while boats sail through the Kazinga Canal, a strait that connects lakes Edward and George. It is a place where nature feels alive in every corner and every encounter with the fauna is unforgettable.

Lake Mburo National Park is that compact jewel of Uganda where the savannah meets the water and offers a much more intimate and tranquil experience than the larger parks. “Where the whisper of acacias mixes with the chirping of hippos, creating the perfect setting to discover the elegance of zebras under the African sun.”
