Your detailed safari itinerary
Arrival in Entebbe
A Watatu representative will pick you up at Entebbe International Airport. Once we have met, we will head to the accommodation and we will make the presentation of all the adventurers. We will have the afternoon to rest and/or take a walk on Lake Victoria.

En route to Murchison Falls and walking safari with rhinos at Ziwa Sanctuary
Early in the morning, we will depart for Murchison Falls, leaving the city behind to venture into the quiet rural areas of Uganda. Our first stop will be Ziwa Sanctuary, where we will experience an exciting walking safari to meet face to face with white rhinos. After this unforgettable experience, we will take a lunch break and continue to Murchison. There, we will climb to the top of the Nile Falls to contemplate the impressive force of the water. At the end of the day, we will continue to the lodge, enjoying a spectacular sunset over the African savannah.

Uganda's Best Safari: Murchison Falls National Park
Today, we will devote the whole day to making the most of “the best safari in Uganda”. In the morning we will explore the park in 4x4 in search of 4 of the 5 big ones (elephants, buffaloes, lions and leopards). We will return to our lodge for lunch and, in the afternoon, we will continue our adventure in the afternoon enjoying an afternoon safari in search of felines.

En route to Kibale Forest National Park
Very early in the morning, we will start our route to the area of Kibale. A spectacular route that will take us south of Murchison Falls, where we can enjoy the fauna of this area. We will leave the park and arrive at Fort Portal, where we will enjoy a local meal. On the way to our lodge in Kibale, we will stop in the middle of a tea plantation to take a picture and enjoy a brief explanation by our guide. After arriving at our hotel and resting, we will head to Bigodi, where we will observe the ancestral process of making coffee and learn how to brew a unique local drink: banana beer.

Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale
This will be an unforgettable day. With our rangers, we will venture into Kibale Forest to see the world's last wild chimpanzees. Once we locate a family, we will be able to observe them for an hour. We will be able to appreciate their morning routines, the games between mothers and their young, and the territorial relationships among males. After the activity, we will enjoy a local lunch and have the afternoon to relax at our lodge.
En route to Queen Elizabeth and boat safari on the Kazinga Channel
Early in the morning, we will start our journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Taking an alternative route, we will leave behind the Kibale mountains to enter a land of volcanoes, craters, and savanna. Once we arrive at our lodge, we will have lunch, and in the afternoon, we will head to the legendary Kazinga Channel. We will cruise along the channel, spotting numerous groups of hippos and, if we're lucky, we might see elephants on the bank.

Lion Tracking Program and Kyambura Gorge
Early in the morning, we will participate in the Lion Tracking Program at Queen Elizabeth National Park. Together with top-level scientists, we will track the lions in the Kasenyi area via satellite, gaining a much more intimate insight into these felines. We will observe them, learn about their behavior, and understand the importance of lions for the conservation of the African ecosystem. In the afternoon, we will take an excursion through the famous Kyambura Gorge. In this tropical forest, we will track the chimpanzee families of the area. Afterwards, we will transfer to the hotel to rest and enjoy the savanna views.
In search of climbing lions in Ishasha and heading to Bwindi National Park
Breakfast at the accommodation and departure to Ishasha, the southern sector of Queen Elisabeth National Park. We will go in search of the famous climbing lions and other animals of the area. We will have lunch and get to know the project “Save Wildlife Community”. Then we will continue our route to the impenetrable forest of Bwindi. Right on the edge of Bwindi, in Buhoma, we will spend the night there and prepare for the trekking the next day.

Trekking through the Bwindi Forest
Breakfast and ready to do the trekking that crosses the Impenetrable Forest of Bwindi: “The beat of Bwindi”. This route, used by the local population, connects the villages of Buhoma and Nteko. During the tour we will enter the jungle, passing through waterfalls and mountainous terrain (if you do not want to do this activity, you can go by car with the guide to the accommodation). We will have lunch during the trekking and continue to Nteko, where a car will take us to the next lodge.

Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
The day has come, the moment you have dreamed of all your life. Early in the morning we will explore the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (habitat of almost 600 mountain gorillas, half of the world's population). After an informative chat with the rangers, we will begin the search for the last mountain gorillas on the planet. The walk usually lasts between 3 and 6 hours. Once we locate the family, we will have 1 hour to observe the behavior of these primates. Lunch in the jungle and return, in the afternoon, to the accommodation.

Panoramic plane flight to Entebbe and sloop beak expedition to Lake Victoria
Today we say goodbye to Bwindi and head to Kisoro Airport and we will prepare to catch a spectacular plane flight to Entebbe (approx. 1:30 —2 h). In the afternoon, we will say goodbye to this incredible journey with the “Buzzard Expedition”. We will tour the swampy areas of Lake Victoria by traditional canoe in search of the slop beak, probably the most famous and special bird in all of Uganda. Later we will return to the hotel for dinner and rest.

Breakfast and return international flight
Although it seems a lie, the adventure in Uganda has come to an end. We will say goodbye to the whole group and arrange a transfer to the airport. International flight
