Arribada a Nairobi
Un representant de Watatu et rebrà a l’Aeroport Internacional Jomo Kenyatta de Nairobi. Des d’allà, un cop reunits, posarem rumb a l’hotel situat a la ciutat de Nairobi Aquest primer dia està pensat per aterrar amb calma, descansar del viatge i començar a sentir el pols de Kenia.
Lake Naivasha and Crescent Island: Boat and Walking Safari
Let's get started! We start our adventure leaving behind the city of Nairobi. The landscape opens between acacia trees, until you reach one of the most emblematic lakes in the country. In a couple of hours we arrive in Naivasha, and in the middle of the morning we will do a boat safari on the lake, sailing among hippos and an incredible variety of birds, with the fishing eagles as protagonists. The experience continues on Crescent Island, the paradise of Naivasha. We will spend the afternoon on this secluded and unique island, where we will do a walking safari, walking freely among giraffes, wildebeests, zebras and water antelopes in a safe environment, a very special way to connect with African nature.
Lake Nakuru: the kingdom of rhinos
Today we will head to Lake Nakuru National Park, the Jewel of the Rift Valley. Just a couple of hours of travel and we enter the park, where we will do a safari en route in the middle of the morning until we reach the accommodation, where a hot lunch and rest time await us. This park stands out especially for the large concentration of white and black rhinos, as well as Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions and leopards. In the afternoon, we will go on a safari to continue exploring this ecosystem full of life, taking advantage again of the most active hours of the day, when the light is perfect and the felines return to activity before sunset.
Safari to Lake Nakuru and arrival at Masai Mara
We wake up inside Lake Nakuru National Park and go on a safari en route to say goodbye to its fauna. Then, we set off on a journey of about 5 hours to the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon entering the reserve, we will start our safari looking for the big five. We will have lunch at the accommodation located in the heart of the park and in the afternoon, we will leave again from safari to explore this golden immensity until the moment of sunset. A moment to toast and keep in memory this mythical landscape.
Masai Mara: Big Five safari
Today the ultimate adventure awaits us: a full day safari in the mythical Masai Mara reserve. We will leave early, with the first rays of the sun illuminating the plains, to visit different ecosystems of the reserve during the day. The savannah opens before us, we are in one of the best places on the planet to observe wildlife and find the “big five”. During a full day of incredible safari, always accompanied by our expert guide, we will learn the secrets of the African fauna while looking for lions under the acacias, lurking cheetahs, majestic elephants, giraffes, zebras and antelopes crossing the golden shepherds. In the evening we will enjoy a dinner and evening around the fire, sharing stories in a day full of emotions and unforgettable encounters.
Masai Mara in Nairobi: end of an adventure
Now yes, the route comes to an end. A journey that will surely, like us, mark you forever. After a few very intense days, today we will start the day in a more relaxed way. We will say goodbye to the Masai Mara and start the return by road to Nairobi. Depending on the schedule of the international flight, optional activities can be organized in the city. Finally we will make the transfer to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

The Maasai Mara is a nature reserve famous for the Great Migration, where millions of animals cross the Kenyan savannah every year. It is home to the “Big Five” of Africa and a rich biodiversity. In addition, it is home to the Maasai people, whose culture and traditions have coexisted in harmony with this impressive ecosystem for centuries.
Naivasha, in the heart of the Rift Valley, stands out for crystal clear lakes, diverse fauna and tranquil surroundings.
